| Job Description: |
A SAN Midrange Storage Specialist is required to work with a global consulting client to provide storage management services in Open Systems environments. Role will include supporting storage products and providing product expertise and management. Perform activations of storage capacity (SAN Enterprise disk) across various accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities are:
• Escalation to support following defined processes
• Perform activation of SAN and enterprise storage requests
• Navigate and utilise network and workstation utilities
• Communicate with various client/customer operational/technical/internal/helpdesk support teams and management
• Maintain online documentation

Skills Required:: |
SAN Hardware and Management Tools: Cisco, EMC, McData, Brocade, HDS, IBM DSxxxx)
Enterprise disk and Management Tools: EMC Symmetrix/DMX, EMC Clariion, EMC Enterprise Control Center (ECC), IBM Enterprise Storage Server (ESS), IBM DS4xxx, DS6/8xxx
Server Platforms: Basic Knowledge of Unix (Sun Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux etc) and Intel Operating System
Other: Knowledge of Problem Management Reporting tools and Automation tools. Experience creating technical design documentation
