| Job Description: |
The process analyst role will entail working closely with the business to provide process modeling expertise and guidance as well as being responsible for implementation of executable processes. This role is a hybrid function and candidates will be expected to demonstrate business facing and analysis skills as well as hands on process re-design experience. The ideal candidate will come from a banking or investment banking background ideally with Finance function knowledge coupled with real world BPM implementation and process design experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide process modeling and implementation expertise to Finance change team
Work closely with and support Finance change teams to capture and re-design business processes
Implementation and maintenance of executable process models
Provide quality assurance of process models
Work close with technical process implementation teams to support process development workstreams
Key skills and experience
5 to 10+ years of process modeling and design, experience should include hands on BPMN modeling; understanding of different methodology approaches e.g. six sigma, TQM
Strong working knowledge of BPM modeling technologies (Informatica, Intalio, iProcess, Lombardi, ARIS, Oracle
) in order to support implementation of business processes
Exposure/ knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Professional and personal qualifications
Must be able to demonstrate strong analysis and analytical skills
Working knowledge of investment banking processes, preferably in Finance function
10+ years industry experience, with either an investment banking, consultancy or software vendor background
Proven track record of business / process analysis and delivery, preferably on large scale, global implementations
Team player, highly motivated, practical problem solver
Ability to work independently
Degree Level education or higher
Soft Skills
Ability to quickly establish credibility with diverse stakeholders must have presence
Ability to present to senior business and technology executives and ``sell the vision``
Good communication, networking and influencing skills
Good relationship management skills
Strong negotiation & influencing skills
Excellent command of written/verbal business English
