| Job Description: |
This leading Healthcare Organisation is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst for a permanent role based in Qatar.
The Systems Analyst is responsible for managing the development of new or modification of existing IT systems. The Analyst’s primary task is to assist in defining user requirements, project management and be the interface with end users and in-house and external developers to ensure the end product meets user requirements.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
1 Responsible for translating end users’ requirements into desired products and effective IT solutions.
2 Manages the project by defining the system architecture and interfaces, defining user requirements, workflows needed to support the application, co-ordinates project development across internal programmers and external vendors in delivering the end product within the given timeline, budgets and targets.
3 Assists in the development of new or modification of existing IT systems.
4 Develops test plans for testing the system functionality and in conducting user acceptance testing.
5 Responsible for the technical documentation for design, architecture, release notes and user guides.
6 Provides support for production problems, such as tracking and resolving errors.
7 Participates in the Hospital’s committees and work groups as required.
8 Develop training courses for staff. Oversee user training of new applications.
9 Assumes other responsibilities as directed by the Manager, Enterprise Applications.
To apply you will possess a Degree in Computer Science or relevant college degree.
You should also possess a minimum 3 years experience in IT applications projects implementation and support. Specific experience includes Healthcare and/or Business Applications, such as GE, Document Management Systems, Lawson, Oracle Financials, Meditech, Cerner, PACS, Omnicell, etc.
