For our client, well known provider of e-commerce and consumer guidance technology we are seeking a Qualified personnel for a position Implementation technician.
Summary
Applicant will be required to perform daily maintenance tasks on various servers and systems. They
mainly consist of VMWare, Linux, Windows (IIS). They will be located in Podebrady, Czech Republic. The applicant must be fluent in English.
Job Duties
- Deploy new AnswerOil versions (following a predefined procedure on IIS.)
- Deploy new Mology versions (following a predefined procedure on Linux/Apache/MySQL)
- Create and manage users in our Asterisk (Trixbox/FreePBX) phone system
- Create and manage users in our Unix environment
- Maintain the various backup systems around our network
- Responding to network down emergencies (as alerted by our monitoring system.)
- Manage our VMware server farms
Job Qualification
Certifications:
Windows MCSA
VMware VCP
CompTIA, LPI, Novell Corporation, or Red Hat, Inc – or equivalent.
Experience
Linux system administration
MSSQL Server
MySQL
IIS
Apache
VMware (Currently VMware Server, however we are moving to ESXi.)
VOIP - Asterisk
Key role Interactions
The applicant will primarily interact with our internal systems, service providers and customers to
implement, maintain and restore service. The applicant will be required to be "on-call" and respond
when paged due to network down emergencies.
