An equity research firm located in downtown Cleveland, has an immediate Full-Time opportunity in Accounting/Operations. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, challenging environment.
• Responsibilities include:
• Accounts Payables and Receivables
• All GL entires and bank reconciliations
• Payroll/benefits
• Preparation for monthly financial statements.
• Various financial reports for Management
• Quarterly FOCUS report filing(will need to acquire a Series 27 license)
• Preparation for annual audits
• Work with accountants to ensure timely returns
• Point-person for Help-desk requests
• Work closely with IT Consultants for any issues outside of normal help-desk requests.
• Maintain our website and intranet
• Contributing ideas for ares of Accounting, Finance and IT
This individual will grow to manage our Accounting and Finance efforts, including the oversight of annual audits, tax filings and analyzing and providing suggestions on our cash flow and spending.
This individual will grow to manage our internal IT support on a daily basis as well as the maintenance of our established website. In addition, we have a number of broad-scope IT projects that need to be accomplished. This would involve contributing creative suggestions as to how we can better manage our current IT systems to make our overall business more effective and cost efficient, researching potential solutions, and putting together plans for the implementation of new systems, up grades, etc..
This role requires strong problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate well within a team. Must me a pro-active, self-motivated and enthusiastic. A strong work ethic and positive attitude are also essential for success.
