| Job Description: |
Our client is searching for a Head of Accounting to manage a small professional team setting objectives, monitoring performance and conducting appraisals. You will assign tasks to team members in line with the required demands of the business and on the implementation of IFRS and of fast close procedures. You will work on the preparation of monthly and annual accounts and review financial statements and advise on applicable changes for disclosures.
You will have a professional qualification: ACA/CIMA/ACCA professional level with significant post qualification background. You will have experience in a similar position and solid understanding of IFRS and implementation or conversion experience. You will have the ability to communicate and explain procedures to non financial, professional staff and to exhibit an open and consultative approach. You will possess the capability of and experience in managing a team, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise and disseminate tasks in line with the required demands on the business. You will be an excellent communicator with the confidence to liaise across the business at all levels, be credible, confident and customer focused.
