| Job Description: |
Supervise the site system engineers during site testing and commissioning for Qatar projects.
Responsible on reporting all site anomalies and following-up on their resolution with the site system engineers and of coordination with PM and AE.
Following up on the RMA’s and hardware failures encountered on site including close monitoring of all systems availability.
Responsible of the consistency / accuracy of the daily reports to be issued by system engineers during testing and commissioning.
Provide support to system engineers in terms of customer interface on a day to day basis.
On site Coordination with other contractors for homogenous site activities and successful exercitation of the substation.
Manage and forecast the site requirements (materials/tools/technicians/support from customer)
Follow the dispatch and delivery of the DCS equipments to the sites on time.
Insure all site pre-requisites are met before the start of the commissioning.
Take complete responsibility of the safety of EAM / pool engineers working on site.
Follow-up on the quality of the Erection for DCS equipment.
Follow-up on the quality of Wiring for DCS equipment.
Monitor the time spent in the sites (presence / absence / time sheets of system engineers)
Motivate and drive the system site engineers; and manage the urgent site activities.
Implement and supervise a system for fast response to customer calls for interventions and be responsible for responsiveness to QATAR clients complaints during testing and commissioning.
