| Job Description: |
Our client is searching for a Financial Accountant whose responsibilities will be as follows:
Accounts management
Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
Assisting with the production of monthly board meeting reports as required
Daily, weekly and monthly financial information particularly cash position and forecasts
Managing external audit process and liaise with external auditors
Dealing with queries, requests and other ad hoc projects
Your professional profile:
Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA) or undertaking a professional qualification
2 years accounting experience; preferably in the online-sector
Experience with IFRS and UK-GAAP
Experience in inter-company reconciliations
Basic knowledge of tax law in Gibraltar / UK
Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications, ideally SAGE line 50
Strong PC skills (especially in Excel)
Very good knowledge in written and spoken English

Professional organization skills, ability to multi-task and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work to very tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Ability to recognize incorrect or inconsistent numbers/reports quickly and make appropriate changes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as due to liaising with both internal and external clients
Salary: £33k – £38k
