He will be responsible for Conceptualizing the green field project from sketch to delivery like as Starting from project engineering such as basic and detailed engineering , selection of the technology , selection of the equipments procurement , construction / erection , commissioning (cold & Hot) , operation and stabilization of the coal based , Gas based , Iron and steel making units.
leading a team of dynamic professionals on a high growth path.
• Responsible for setting up various multi-locations very large integrated Green field Steel plants & give technical guidance to Engineering teams
• To bring the plant in the direction of best layout , best technology and best process route and optimized productivity for quality steel at the most competitive lowest operating cost.
• Starting from project engineering such as basic and detailed engineering , selection of the technology , selection of the equipments procurement , construction / erection , commissioning (cold & Hot) , operation and stabilization of the coal based , Gas based , Iron and steel making units.
• Evaluate possibilities of partnerships and technical collaborations through the development of high level relations with authorities and organizations in the steel sector.
• Reviewing and monitoring steel project plant design, selection of right technology / right vendor etc.
• Techno feasibility study and report.
• Strong understanding of steel technologies, heat and power requirements etc,
• Deep understanding of equipment sourcing & Negotiation skills for reducing the cost of project
• Sound knowledge of global and domestic vendors

Expat professionals with substantial international experience in leadership positions in its works / organization in India, with varied experience and skills .
The ideal candidate will be an engineering graduate ( Mechanical / Electrical ) with 25- 30 years of experience in heading some mega integrated operating steel plant and also green field Steel projects with outstanding international success track record with sound business acumen. The incumbent would have to prepare a business plan for different steel projects in India & overseas and ensure that it is achieved by employing suitable business strategies. He will be responsible for setting up very large integrated Green field Steel plants & expansion of some of our plants & give technical guidance to Engineering team leads.
He should be an internationally experienced professional, with extensive knowledge and experience, willing to work in India.
Excellent English communication skill sets, Strong interpersonal & people management skills, teamwork , leadership & decision making , creativity & Innovativeness in operations & systems , Strong, customer / client orientation and organizational skills are a must to succeed in this role at all interfaces. Individual must be self motivated, team oriented, and a good communicator. Proficient in use of Project Coordination Computer soft wares. Ability to work under pressure.
