General Manager – Steel Fabrication Operations ( Saudi Arabia-Damman)
One of the reputed and leading contracting groups actively involved in the construction activities in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries for more than half a century in the Eastern Province of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking for a bright and highly talented professional in the senior management level having relevant experience in managing a large steel fabrication company or a separate profit centre as SBU in a large private organization.
Job Summary
The major responsibility will be to lead and guide the present workshop teams at the steel fabrication factories in the Eastern and Western Provinces in the Kingdom. As the group also intends to set-up a third modern steel fabrication factory in the Eastern Province due to high market demands, the General Manager will also be responsible for coordinating the activities of setting-up a modern factory as per the consultant’s design and take care of its overall technical and commercial operations. Though the capacity of the two factories are fully utilized at present for the group’s on-going projects in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries across the Kingdom, developing new business from external potential clients is also expected at a later stage.
Qualifications & Experience
BSc or BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production
Work Experience
At least 15-20 years experience supported by direct exposure to relevant operations in the steel fabrication for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries, along-with a proven managerial ability in business. Furthermore, at least 5 years of senior managerial experience in Middle East is preferred.

• Skills in dealing with and developing potential clients like Saudi Aramco, main contractors, industrial clients, consultants in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
• Practical application of HR, Finance, Operations and Strategic Management in the day to day business. |
