Job Description: Our client is seeking experienced Business Development Manager for a permanent role based in Muscat, Oman.

The company is a major healthcare provider in Muscat, Oman.

Your duties will include:

Market and Sell Company Products – Achieve Targets:

Market coverage - visit customers
Visit Customers with Sales & Marketing Executives/Sales Representatives
Understand customer needs
Match or exceed customer needs with hospital services
Preparation of offers and proposals
Negotiate on price, payments and other conditions & terms
Close deals
Prepare customer contracts (insurance, corporate and part-time doctors)
Preparation of Annual Marketing Plan including Sales Action Plan
Participating in preparing Business Plan
Perform market analysis
Training for Sales and Marketing Team


Marketing and Sales Activities:

Attend department meetings
Attend assigned exhibitions
Produce and develop pamphlets, brochures, posters and place advertisements in newspapers and magazines. Decide on needed giveaways and proper sponsorships to participate in and other marketing activities
Review Sales & Marketing Executives/Sales Representatives daily reports
Review and approve Sales & Marketing Executives/Sales Representatives customer offers and local purchases
Recommend on needed trainings for Sales & Marketing Executives/Sales Representatives
Develop a PR Plan
Brand Management and act as Brand Guardian
Doctors marketing including part-time doctors’ referrals to hospitals and admitting privileges
Diagnostic Centre marketing
Participate in events that attract MPH target audience
Arrange regular Continuing Medical Education Programme (CME) for secondary referrers.


Deliver Market Feedback:

Produce Monthly Sales and Marketing Report to Hospital Director
Summarise and provide to the Sales & Marketing Executives/Sales Representatives
Feedback to the Sales & Marketing Executives/Sales Representatives the Daily Report.


Follow Company Policies & Procedures


Manage Sales & Marketing Coordinator/Executive or Sales Representatives:

Trace and control Sales Representatives’ customer visits
Control and monitor redundancy of Sales and Representatives’ customer visits (redundancy is not allowed unless needed)
Follow up on Sales Representatives’ sales deals and leads
Control and monitor discounts
Control Sales Representatives’ attendance
Supply Sales Representatives with their needed information


Other:

Oversee Website management
Maintain competitor analysis and intelligence information
Arrange sponsorship of CME.

To apply for the role you will possess a minimum of 3 years in a sales and marketing appointment; additional experience holding a management appointment, either in an operational or marketing and sales role in a private healthcare facility and in the Middle East as a preference.

In return for you will receive a TAX FREE salary between $50,000 - $60,000 USD per annum.

You will also receive an excellent benefits package in addition to the salary given.
