Our client is seeking experienced General Anaesthetists for permanent roles based in Muscat, Oman.
Working in Oman’s premier private medical facility, this facility is a 72-bed General Hospital, with first-class out-patient and in-patient facilities for the majority of specialties, including a Diagnostic Centre with C.T. Scan and the latest "open" MRI.
The Anaesthesia department is an essential, integral member of the surgical operating team in theatre. Working as a General Anaesthetist you will provide the very safest anaesthesia to all patients.
You will communicate with patients and family members during pre-operative visit in relation to the form of anaesthesia best for each patient. You will ensure after the operation the accurate and efficient management of pain relief in order to patients to ensure that recovery is as comfortable as possible.
The Anaesthetic department is also responsible for providing a 24-hour epidural service for the labour ward. With a working epidural in place, labour is no longer a painful burden for the expectant mother. For those patients requiring that extra bit of care and monitoring, the High Dependency Unit, with one-on-one nursing care, is available under the professional management of the department.
To apply for the role you will possess General anaesthesia background/experience and be fully qualified – no need for super specialized clinicians like cardiac, etc.
In return you will receive a salary between $70,000 USD - $75,000 USD per year plus free 2-3 bedroom accommodation apartment on site, family contract with education allowance for 2 children and other benefits.
