Airport Manager – City of Columbus NE
Immediate opening. Responsible for management and oversight of all activities and functions of the Columbus Airport. This is a General Aviation airport (no commercial airline service). Work is performed with considerable independence under the general direction of the Columbus Board of Airport Commissioners and in accordance with city, state, and federal rules and regulations in the planning and execution of programs and projects.
Will conduct daily business transactions, (including maintaining proper records, reports, and documents; answering correspondence; responding to complaints; obtaining insurance, equipment, and other services; and ordering supplies). Will be responsible for maintenance, security, and safety aspects of the airport. Will maintain good communication and effective working relationships with contractors, airport licensees or tenants, the general public, and the Columbus Board of Airport Commissioners relating to airport operations and facilities.
