Excellent core Java skills - 6+ years of hands on java coding
Spring IoC
REST-ful services
Maven/subversion skills (tagging, branching, how pom-files work and how to maintain them, etc)
Proven track record in writing critical never stop software that handles monetary transactions
Experience in critical systems using open source frameworks and components
Fluent in software patterns (GoF and more specific ones, like circuit-breaker).
