The firm`s evolution over a 50-year span is reflected in its continuing record of achievements performing major civil, industrial and electromechanical projects worldwide. On behalf of the client, we are looking for QA/QC Senior Engineer with specialization in concrete works to work in Libyan office of the company.
Project description:
Tripoli Harbor Breakwater Reconstruction, Libya
Construction of a rubble-mound-extend berm in front of the existing breakwater including the round head together with associated armoring of rock and pre-cast concrete cubes. Additionally, among others: construction of a new primary layer of acropode units and secondary armoring of rock as well as sewage outfall and associated works through the breakwater.
Responsibilities:
Ensure implementation of the Site Quality Control Plan.
Verification that all QC requirements of the Contract and the relevant Employer`s/ Superintending Officer`s instructions are being followed.
Ensure that the QC Plan documentation, testing and inspection records are properly maintained.
Monitor and define quality problem areas and propose corrective actions to the Project Management Team.
Monitor and define Health, Safety and Environmental problem areas and take corrective actions in coordination with the Project Management Team.
Supervise a multi-national team of QC Engineers and Inspectors.
Supervision of all concrete works on site
Liaison between the client and company
Supervision of sampling and batching of concrete used on site

Skills Required:: |
Bachelor in Civil Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in concrete works on large scale industrial construction projects
Excellency in English
Excellent knowledge of Quality standards and policies
Experience in marine civil works will be an advantage |
