Description :-
This is a developer position in support of several mission critical applications within DOR.
Applications include Remiittance processing, OCR of tax forms using Captiva Software and OPEX scanning equipment.
This person will develop new programs and enhance existing applications in support of the above systems.
This person will also help provide support in troubleshooting production problems.
Important: Looking for Qualified candidates that have experience with Imaging Forms, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and Forms Processing.
DOR will perform extensive background checks; those having any overdue and unpaid taxes or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be a offered the position or hired as a contractor.
Required Skils :-
Creation and maintenance of javascript enabled PDF forms
Four years of full-time computer programming and analysis experience
Three years of work experience equivalent to an Advanced Programmer/Analyst using Visual C++ with MFC, and COM
Three years of work experience equivalent to an Advanced Programmer/Analyst using Visual Basic.NET thick client (Windows Forms) applications
Three years work experience using either Oracle or SQL Server
Three or more years experience development using Visual Basic 6
Preferred Skils :-
A year or more of work experience with Oracle Packages/Stored Procedures
A year or more of work experience using Visual Basic.NET developing ASP.NET Thin Client Applications
A year or more using ODP.NET (Oracle Data Provider for .NET)
Programming support of a high volume, mission critical application
Development experience with Captiva InputAccel, Dispatcher and Formware (*This Is Highly Desired*)
Attended formal Captiva training for Input Accel, Formware, or Dispatcher products
FileNet SDK Experience
Experience in the creation and manipulation of PDF and TIFF files via SDK’s or custom code
Professional experience supporting workflow-based applications
Developing and running unit test and following through the complete testing cycles.
1 year or more of work experience with Xml/xslt
1 year or more of work experience with a remittance processing or lockbox depositing system
Change management experience utilizing PVCS Version Manager and PVCS Tracker
Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions with minimal direction
A demonstration of expertise in acquiring and applying knowledge of new technology
