| Job Description: |
Our Client is an internationally recognised organisation providing engineering and operations services to the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
They currently have an opportunity for an ESP Specialist (Electrical Submersible Pump) to join their Saudi Arabian office.
Responsibilities will include:
Subsurface Operations:
Review the predicted reservoir performance, pressure depletion, water cut, Gas Oil Ratio, etc to optimize the pump design and monitor parameters for all the ESP wells.
Supervise the ESP Installation, Commissioning, Trouble Shooting, Maintenance, Surveillance, Performance/Function tests.
Surface Operations:
Specify the surface power requirements
Specify the surface ESP hook-up requirements (VSD, transformers, JB, data transfer, etc.).c)He shall review the commissioning procedure
Review the operating procedures and well operating guidelines and update as required.
Project & Contract`s Management:
Prepare and submit a weekly report
Provide the required technical training to staff
Review the preliminary nominated wells for phase I & II of the ESP upcoming project, their suitable in various considerations, such as casing conditions, dog leg severity, production performance and etc.
Based on the different design scenarios and with ESP contractor, the ESP Specialist shall make the recommendations to the selected equipment and its quality that fit with the ESP wells conditions.
Strictly monitor the ESP project Implementation as per service contract with the contractor for all the necessary material supply for ESP applications, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance service.
Remain in contact with rig/service companies & visit them to co-ordinate activities for smooth operation of artificial lift activities (installation, completion, commissioning, stimulation & well livening jobs etc)
Supervises design & preparation of technical specifications of artificial lift, directs/supervises installations, commissioning, monitoring of operation & trouble shooting.
Supervises preparation of contract documents, lease & service agreements, liaises with Contract Department
To supervise & monitor all contractual activities in all aspects of the ESP project and to ensure that the contractor fulfils all of its contractual obligations
Reviews all invoices submitted by contractors for completed work as & when required.
Handle & supervise all commercial issues of Contracts management.
