About the Company:
A multi-billion dollar long established European Main Contractor specialising in heavy civil and marine engineering projects across the Middle East.
The Project:
We require an experienced QA/QC Manager for the Seawater Supply and Return System project (part of the Khalifa Port Development Project in Abu Dhabi) which is divided into two packages:
Land-based Construction comprising of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) seawater supply pipes; civil site works including, but not limited to, ground improvement, earthworks fill and grading, dewatering, excavation support, cofferdams, environmental control of turbidity from dewatering, laying of pipes, backfill, and erosion protection, all onshore structures, foundations, protection and/or diversion of existing services, protection for future crossings of services, roads, railway, conveyors, pipelines, and module path.
Marine-side Construction comprising of seawater return pressure pipeline system; Outfall System (weir basin, a collector channel, an emergency spillway); civil site works including, but not limited to, earthworks, dewatering, excavation support, cofferdams, subsea excavation, environmental control of turbidity from dewatering and subsea excavation, laying of pipes, backfill, and erosion protection, all structures both onshore and offshore, foundations.
Requirements:
As well as being an experienced and qualified QA/QC Manager with similar projects exposure, you must have large diameter Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Pipe experience (minimum of between 3m – 4m diameter). In addition, you MUST have prior civil marine experience.
