· To provide commercial legal advice.
· Legal advice intended to reduce and control legal risk whilst adding value to the business
· Advising on English law (often in French) in a variety of areas including procurement, commercial contracts, litigation, data protection, marketing and advertising rules, competition and data protection law and a variety of other generalist areas
· Provide accurate but commercial legal advise in a business context
· Develop profile of UK legal function through approachability, visibility, and availability
· Arrange training for business areas on specific legal areas where required
· Play an active role in ensuring close contact between UK and FR lawyers
The role is General Commercial as outlined above and needs a mature head . Likely the candidate will have 2 to 4 years PQE in a legal role either In house, solicitor or Barrister.
