| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
Work closely with local Configurator and Order Management resources to create configurable models and implement these for various sales and service modules including Order Management, Quoting, iStore, and Installed Base.
Experience:
--Identify and propose technical solutions that meet business requirements.
--Perform problem analysis, debugging and coding as part of production support and new development.
--Create technical specifications, and unit test plans.
--Provide work effort estimates.
--Thorough understanding of Configurator APIs for integration & extensions.
--Understanding of MACD Solutions Requirements:
--Knowledge of Advanced Pricing Module and Integration to Configurator Pricing.
--Prefer experience in the following development languages and tools: Oracle 11i Configurator Application Development Tools, Oracle PL/SQL, JAVA J2EE, JSP, HTML.
--Implementation experience with the Oracle Configurator components of the Configurator Developer & the Configurator Runtime.
--Excellent understanding of Configurator Schema.
--Ability to use Configurator Developer components including the creation of the model structure, rule definitions, UI design and the use of functional companions.
--Ability to design and develop Functional Companions for complex business rules that cannot be implemented using Oracle Configurator Developer. |
Skills Required:: |
Required Knowledge & Skills:
1. Two to five years experience in Oracle Configurator.
2. Must have strong functional and technical knowledge of working in Oracle.
3. Must have development experience utilizing PL/SQL.
4. Must posses Design and Configuration experience.
5. Experience in both functional and technical aspects of E-Business.
6. Strong documentation and communication skills (i.e. has prepared design documents, testing cases, etc.)
7. Respond to user issues.
8. Gather user requirements for customizations, reports, and changes to existing functionality, and make recommendations as to the same
Design, plan and conduct functional testing.
9. Develop test scripts and test cases for customizations.
10. Support user acceptance testing and obtain user sign off.
11. Open and coordinate service requests with Oracle Support to obtain the patches required and test to ensure functionality.
12. Provides technical production support for the Application Development Technical staff in development, analysis, debugging and user-support tasks. |
