| Job Description: |
You will join the region’s market leader as a Principal Roads and Highways Engineer where you will be responsible for all facets of design for infrastructure projects.
The principle activities for this role are:
· To cover all aspects of road and highway design including mentoring of junior staff
· Providing technical input on designs for road and highway projects, transport planning projects and other multi disciplined projects as required
· Ensuring that the designs under your control accurately represent the client’s requirements
To be considered candidates will need to satisfy the following selection criteria:
· Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
A minimum of 15 years experience in the design of major roads and highways
Strong experience in the use of MX Roads and other CADD tools such as Civil 3D
Membership of an appropriate professional institute is desirable
We prefer that you have experience with the following: transport planning, traffic analysis, traffic signal design and utility design
