The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin is currently looking for motivated young leaders to join the Scandinavia Meets Germany Forum to exchange ideas on the past,present and future relationship between the two regions.Participants will take part in a week long seminar from May 31st to June 5th in Berlin during which they will meet and hear from politicians,academics and experts from the field of cultural diplomacy.Discussions will range from stereotypes of the two regions to the politics of culture and identity in a European context to the role of arts as a platform for dialogue.Participants will then be supported by the ICD in researching the Scandinavia-Germany relationship in the hope that they will be able to start their own cultural initiatives within the field of cultural diplomacy.

The ICD is looking for people to exchange ideas to kickstart fresh intercultural initiatives.It is therefore important that applicants are highly motivated,open minded and above all willing to take risks both in their thinking and in the activities which they choose to carry out.The week long seminar will require an excellent command of the English language. |
