A Clinical Manager / based in India or Durban/ South Africa
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Biological Sciences or related Medical/Scientific field with a preference for a Pharmacist background;
Minimum 5 years experience in clinical research in an international environment;
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills fluency in English essential;
Working knowledge of SOPs relevant to clinical research;
Ideal individual would have experience with a generic company having done new chemical entity work.

Specific Outcomes / Accountability:
Develop strategies for proof of efficacy for all products requiring such data;
Develop protocols together with CROs for all trials;
Submit project briefs for approval of studies including cost benefit ratio;
Advise on product suitability for trial purposes;
Manage all clinical studies for the group and report on these at regular intervals;
Ensure test and reference drugs are available at clinical site when required;
Review studies done by licensors and assist in motivations where required;
Correlate dissolution data with clinical data for the purposes of regulatory submissions.
