Accounting
Budget and reforecast every three months
Audit (internal and external) and comply with international accounting standard and company policies (KSAT and others)
Consolidate Malaysia with Singapore branch account
Month end average 4 working days month end closing with result key into server (UK) - TM1
Commentary report and other monthly report by the following day
Year end 14 days with external audit and year end package
Liaise with group internal auditor
Taxation
Corporate - Year end statutory submission (Malaysia and Singapore) and revision of current year tax liabilities. Knowledge of reinvestment allowance and other tax incentive.
Personal - familiar with personal tax issues.
Banking
LC, BA, TR, surplus fund placement, Forex hedging
Information technology
ERP system MFG PRO from QAD
Competence with Microsoft office for various reporting and evaluation analysis
Legal
Mainly but not limited to debt recovery
Trade mark registration
Costing
Product costing
Profit centre
Purchasing
To ensure department efficiency - stock procurement, control, halal application and form D application.
Insurance
General and staff insurance
Claim and renewal
Administration
Licensing, office administration (may be transferred to HRM)
ISO, HACCP, Training
Committee member - mainly on purchasing, sales and distribution procedures
HACCP internal auditor
Management
Part of the management team
