| Job Description: |
We are currently seeking an Assistant Managers with typically less than 2 years management experience to run quality shifts, drive sales and profit performance of the store. This role is to primarily assist opening and closing the store, and scheduling of team members. They will supervise and oversee daily store operations to ensure profitability through store presentation, guest service, lead team, and to uphold the Doogodian™ Principles that ensure Doogoland® is always a seriously fun place for families that is safe, friendly, and educational.

Job Responsibilities and Skills:
• Makes daily decisions regarding time management (must have a sense of urgency), upholding product quality, cleanliness and company standards.
• Builds sales and maximizes profits by effectively interviewing, scheduling, developing and communicating company and guest expectations to entire team.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Learn, teach and motivate team to maintain high quality guest service and safety.
• Understands and performs cost control procedures, financial accounting, inventory levels and labor management.
• Actively manages team members by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve team member’s performance.
• Ability to write reports, handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to stay organized, to multi-task, and attention to detail and a high level of energy and sense of fun are essential.
• Interpersonal skills, ability to manage store operations independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Report to management on status of inventories

• Progressively responsible retail experience (2 years)

• Experience analyzing financial reports
Education
• College degree in education or business or a closely related field may substitute for a portion of the required experience
Physical Requirements
• Able to perform repeatedly action of standing/walking.
• Able to perform occasional stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs.
• Able to perform occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.
• Able to use repeatedly computer/POS register and kitchen equipment.
• Able to perform frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotating of the wrist(s) and spine.
• Able to receive repeated detailed information through oral communication.
• Able to perform repeated action of talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
• Able to perform repeated action of determining near and/or far distances with clarity.
• Able to frequently clean and disinfect toys or play equipments.
