To incumbent will develop software in accordance with established specifications and will lead all levels of the software development cycle: analysis, design, code and test
Responsibilities
- Technical lead in developing top level designs
and testing software and computer programs based on design requirements and industry standard methodologies
- Co-ordinate difficult assignments and direct the technical decisions
- Investigate software and/or related hardware engineering problems
- Help define and analyze software requirements for systems and/or sub-systems
- Participate in software systems design and peer reviews
- Ensure that proper standards, procedures and techniques are used
- Supervise and guide engineers with less experience
- Ensure support to Proposal team by providing software engineering estimates

Skills Required:: |
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of 10 years related working experience
- Real-time Embedded S/W systems development with emphasis on avionics
- Experience with object-oriented design
- Experience in C, C++ programming languages
- DO-178B or MIL STD 2167/498 standards
- DOORS utilization for requirements capture is an asset
- Experience developing S/W with the Green Hills Integrity Real-time operating system is an asset
- Self-motivated, team player and excellent communication skills
