We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to be based with the companies Head Office team in Auckland, working on the forefront of exciting NZ and Pacific based projects.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role is responsible for preparing cost estimates and technical proposals for tender submissions within the scope of appropriate drawings, specifications, quantities and cost data while ensuring deadlines are met.
You will need solid experience in Civil Construction works coupled with a tertiary qualification in a related field. Computer proficiency particularly with spreadsheets is desirable, as is the ability to effectively analyse and control tender documentation.
Ensuring a thorough understanding of client requirements and site conditions is also an integral part of this role; as such you will need to have a pro-active approach with well developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. Flexibility is also a must, due to domestic and Pacific Island travel requirements.
