Minimum Qualifications
• Degree qualified in business administration, financial management or other relevant qualification from a recognised institution approved by the Employer (Ashghal).
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the administrative management of medium scale companies preferably involved in the utilities sector, strong financial acumen and ability to monitor expenditures against budget allocations, ability to implement corrective actions and controls to ensure compliance with financial constraints.
• Good command of the English language both written and spoken. Computer literate.
Job Summary
• Report to the Plant Manager for regular review of financial performance of the contract.
• To be responsible for all administrative activities for both Doha South & Industrial Area STW’s.
• To be responsible for security, health and safety, quality assurance.
• To be responsible for implementation of all QA activities & compliance with Iso9001 Qa system within 18 months of the commencement of O&M activities.
• To manage all expenditure associated with the works across operational, maintenance, and administrative cost centres.
• To manage the human resources activities including training and payroll.
• Assisted by a Technical Reporting Officer and an Accounting Secretary.
Duties And Responsibilities
• To manage the Client offices and stationery purchases.
• To be in charge of all leasing contracts (Car, PC, etc.).
• To manage the works expenditure accounts.
• To set the annual financial budget each year in liaison with Plant Manager and other Client personnel.
• To pay the purchase orders and staff salaries.
• To manage the recruitment process in consultation with the plant manager.
• To ensure adequate cleaning of the administration building by cleaning staff.
• To monitor any subcontracted activities for compliance and performance targets.
• To comply with the works QA system.
