| Job Description: |
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be required to fulfil the following responsibilities;
•Effectively lead the Project team and shall be responsible for the complete execution of the project within the scope, quality, cost and time.
•Interact with the Client and Sub contractors to resolve Project related issues and obtain approvals required at various stages of the Project, till completion
•Review the project execution plan, take corrective and preventive measures and report to the Construction Manager/ Management.
•Direct and assist the site Planning team to prepare the different schedules for smooth implementation of the project.
•Identify, evaluate and engage the local vendors / partners for the execution of the Project as per the directive given by the Construction Manager.
•Monitor and control the project schedule and the quality requirements.
•Ensure that safety and quality standards are followed to meet the client specifications as well as Local authorities.
•Ensure compliance with Company policies with regard to the execution, control, monitoring and handing over of the Project.
•Ensure the project is effectively resourced and manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors).
•Implementation of HSE policies at all times and levels of the execution of the project.
•Attending various Project review meetings with the Client, Contractors, Site Management and Corporate Management.
•Control and report any project non compliance to the Construction Manager, and implement corrective actions as and when required.
•Timely follow up with the concerned authorities for the smooth delivery of project deliverables, including that of materials, machinery, tools and tackles.
•Maintain a project specific monitoring and reporting system as directed by the Construction Manager.

Skills Required:: |
Candidates should be degree qualified mechanical engineers with a minimum of 16 years related experience in construction management of EPC contracts, in the oil and gas, power or petrochemical industry.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of Construction Management issues including, but not limited to the following;
•Resource planning
•Material management
•Management of subcontractors and sub suppliers
•Construction Health and Safety management
•Project reporting
•Quality management and control of engineering records (as built drawings, non compliances, etc)
•Financial control
•Client management
