Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Website Design Director to join their operation either in Gibraltar, London or Malta.
The role means that you will take responsibility for both the creative strategy of the companys websites, and also all tactical and operational creative delivery. Working as part of the Marketing function, you will own the brands, determine website & advertising design strategy and manage all the creative staff.
With studio facilities in multiple countries, you will build up the current resources by a combination of recruitment and internal growth/development. Servicing 10+ brands, the successful candidate will operate with an agency model with internal, departmental clients.
You will become the custodian of the brands and will set the agenda for their development and communication with customers. You will drive the brands forwards to become genuine market-leaders operating at the cutting edge of brand development in the gaming sector.
Numerous websites will need to be brought under a single creative plan to ensure that they delight customers, drive revenue and work together to successfully occupy specific market segments. Your vision should ensure that the company uses both web2.0 and 1.0 design concepts in the most profitable ways.
Key responsibilities:
Build a cohesive brand strategy.
Design of all websites.
Design of all banners, online, affiliate and customer retention advertising.
Key creative infrastructure.
All design staff and studio facilities.
Working with key marketing stakeholders to deliver growth through marketing.
Managing creative budgets and forecasts.
Design and execution of all offline marketing.
Key skills:
At least 5 years as a senior designer, studio manager or creative/art director.
Experience of working in the online gaming space, ideally with direct experience of casino.
Proven ability to deliver creative design.
Experience of managing designers, ideally working in multiple territories.
Expert understanding of the major creative software tools, website design/build and EDM/banners.
Experience of end-to-end ownership of website design/redesign projects.
Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
Work both autonomously and as part of a senior management team.
Fluent in English and ideally at least 1 other European language.
Salary £50 - £75k
