Top Secret Clearance is Required.
Approximately 3+ years experience with Clarion (FC: AX, CX), Celerra, Windows OS, 2003, W2K,.
Contract – 2 yrs
Nice to haves.. CDL Virtual Tape, Celerra Manager,
Job will be 60- 70 % on site with travel to 5 other air bases. Expenses will be included when travel to other bases to install the hardware and then transfer the data. Role will be responsible for OS Administrations, Storage Provisioning, Start up/Shut Down procedures.File Systems/Volume Management.(Clarion) host -based Migration, Best Practice Knowledge Transfer, BC/HA Planning & Design.Capacatiy and DR Planning & Design.
Required to have knowledge of Celerra Automated Volume Manager (AVM) for use in file system creation and space provisioning. Required knowledge of Clariion Raid Groups, LUNS and Disk Allocation for both Capacity and Performance. Prefer to have knowledge of Robocopy or comparable tool to handle Lan-based Data Migrations from older equipment to new Celerra Model NS-20. Must have knowledge of Windows Active Driectory in a Windows 2003 Server environment. Prefer that the candidate understands the Celerra AntiVirus Agent (CAVA) application and how this is configured on Windows Servers for Real-Time Virus protection.
