TASKS:
Clinical Duties (approximately 16 hours a week)
Must have a good standing with the Medical Quality Control Board of the State of California.
Spanish fluency preferred
Provides for the diagnosis and treatment of health center patients within the scope of his/her license to practice medicine.
Provides follow-up on patients seen including chart notations, lab review, and referrals to specialists.
Provides back-up for mid-level providers on site, or by phone during the day or after hours.
Participates in Provider meetings, QA meetings, Leadership Team meetings and other professional activities as requested by the Chief Executive Officer.
Oversees the management of the provider schedule to ensure access to care
Leads recruitment and retention efforts for provider staff positions.
Supervises and supports site Associate Medical Directors through goal setting, coaching, and mentoring.
Provide leadership and support for quality initiatives.
Participates and/or leads organizational projects that improve access and quality of care.
Qualifications:
Active California medical license, preferably in Family Practice, OB experience preferred, and good standing with the Medical Quality Control Board of the State of California.
Maintains hospital privileges at Sutter Medical Center and Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Minimum 3-years experience in a leadership position
Spanish fluency preferred
