3G Wireless Engineer (1430 - 3952)
2 Years Contract To hire role in Atlanta, GA 30342
Local candidates highly preferred
Rate :- $40/Hr On W2 and $60K Annually Upon Turning Permanent
Qualifications:
UMTS Intermediate Desired
Posses skills to be able to complete items shown in the list of responsibilities (listed below)
Script preparation
Script Execution
Understanding of the UMTS Network (Overview)
Must have experience with 3G Network Elements
Must be completely comfortable working in a Sun Solaris &/or Unix environment for the purpose of preparing and executing scripts & otherwise controlling and operating systems in a live 3G network.
Experience with WinFiol, ProComm, HyperTerminal, Telnet, FTP -Experience with MS Office, advanced user of Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities :-
Add/Expand IuB links for existing Ericsson Node B equipment in the 3G network.
Perform specific job tasks including:
Create/Prepare & validate scripts to be run in the RNC, Node B & MSN(Aggregator)
Execute Scripts in the RNC, Node B & MSN(Aggregator)
Complete Pre & Post checks of all systems including Health Checks, etc.
Create/Prepare/Update Work Orders, Trouble Tickets, Status Reports -Troubleshoot & Operate all 3G Network Systems/Components.
Is able to assist others in resolving complex &/or chronic problems in the 3G Network.
Demonstrates high proficiency in resolving complex problems with 3G Network components.
Act in a leadership role to provide guidance & support to other team members, internal customers & other operations groups (i.e. MSC, RNOC & ATS).
Perform all responsibilities without assistance & with minimal or no supervision. |
