| Job Description: |
We are seeking HSE Officer for oil&gas project, Ras Laffan Qatar, 12 months, rotations 75*21:
• To develop and ensure the implementation of the HSE Management System in compliance with the international standards (ISO 14000 series, OSHA18001, others).
• To ensure that all sites activities carried out by the Company are conducted in strict accordance with HSE Standards and with the requirements/specifications of the Project.
• To ensure the implementation and compliance with the HSE plans and procedures.
• To act as HSE focal point for the work and to develop an emergency response plan in the event of any incident.
• To establish an HSE monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations.
• To promote environmental and safety awareness amongst the workforce and to hold regular site meetings with supervisors, workers, sub contractors etc on HSE matters relevant to the project.
• To provide HSE support and advice to the project/site manager.
• Interface with Clients and control authorities on site.
• To staffs and manage HSE team
• To ensure protection of the Sensitive areas.
• To ensure the development of spill contingency plan and monitor implementation.
• To ensure the development of Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plan, obtain relevant permits from authorities and monitor implementation.
• To ensure compliance with noise regulations requirements.
• To ensure and monitor protection of air quality within the project activities.
• To establish an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations.
• To find out Archaeological significant areas by conducting surface survey and sampling of visible sites for litchis or ceramic scatters, rock arts or building remains.
• To develop Occupational Safety Risk Assessment.
• To take part in accident / incident investigation.
