Software Consultant – Cold Fusion Developer
Description
Responsible for coding of web user interface software solutions. The development activities will span all phases of a project from conceptual design through implementation and on going after the implementation support. Working with existing team to design new software solutions according to customer requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Design and code ColdFusion and other web software in a team environment according to customer requirements and specifications.
· Provide accurate effort-estimates for deliverables
· Collaborates with internal company customers, users, staff members, and IT colleagues to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, while assessing available technologies to develop and present information technology solutions.
· Take initiative to pro-actively identify and mitigate needed tasks when not otherwise assigned
· Flexibility to both learn from and instruct other team members on software practices and techniques.
· Understand and work with relational databases
· Flexibility to respond to changing task priorities
Job Requirements
Strong experience with ColdFusion and Javascript, some experience interfacing with a SQL database
Experience with Flash, Ajax, or Java is a plus.
Education
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
