Excellent opportunity to join a top tier investment bank. The role will focus on the centralized risk/trading system which is the global hub for Fixed Income. This is a design and development role that will require heavy interaction with users and downstream groups.

Skills Required:: |
Core Competencies / Skills:
Business Knowledge
Experience with fixed income risk across cash and derivatives positions - bonds, futures, interest rate swaps and credit default swaps - including the greeks
Experience with large scale data marts
Experience of enterprise standards for data modeling
Some experience with time-series analysis (trade history and market data) and the fundamentals of P&L decomposition desirable
Technical Skills
Highly skilled in Java
Experience working with Enterprise Middleware (J2EE, Weblogic)
Experience with databases and distributed cache products (Coherence, Oracle, etc)
Familiar with cross-platform technologies (XML, RV)
Experience developing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting Fixed Income risk applications
Expert-level experience with object oriented languages and design patterns
Ability to formulate and implement efficient algorithms for fast-time systems.
Understanding of multi-threaded, distributed application development.
Primary Objectives:
Develop, test and assist in the design of risk trading system application.
Work with other groups in FIC to integrate best of breed data into the system
Collaborate with other developers to integrate risk trading system services with their risk engine and viewing applications
Provide second-level technical support for risk trading system.
Provide exceptional levels of service for risk trading system customers.
Manage the build and deployment cycle for risk trading system.
