Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Duties:
1.Work under the direction of the Sales and Marketing Manager to conduct sales & marketing activities with clients in Japan
2.Ensure proper quality control at the factory
3.Liaise with local suppliers and processors of corn and other agricultural products
4.Develop and call on new and potential clients
5.Build and manage relationships with clients
6.Data enter orders, organize supporting documents and perform other administrative duties
7.Follow up on customer enquiries, provide quotes, samples and take orders
8.Update client data base and maintain regular communication with clients
9.Represent company at trade shows and other exhibitions
10.Research and develop distribution channels in Japan and other Asian countries
11.Organize distribution channels and logistics for the shipping of products
12.Report sales and marketing activities as required
13.Communicate/liaise with Supervisor at factory to ensure quality is up to standards of Japanese clients
14.Entertain visiting clients as required.
Other information:
•This is a permanent position
•Housing and board provided
•Canadian company will sponsor successful candidate for a work visa
•Relocation allowance and return transportation to Vietnam provided
•Compensation: from US $2,000 per month
•Work week is 5.5 days

Skills Required:: |
Requirement:
1.Japanese speaking and intimately familiar with current Japanese business practices
2.University degree in Business or Commerce preferred
3.3-5 year sales &/or marketing experience in Japan
4.Experience with agricultural products an asset
5.Willingness to relocate to Vietnam
6.Self motivated, able to set challenging goals and demonstrate persistence
7.Ability to gather and analyze information, seek solutions and solve problems
8.Exceptional communication skills: verbal and written
9.Tactful and able to work under pressure
10.Understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; and able to aligns work with strategic goals.
11.Able to make sound judgement, timely decisions and explain reasons for decisions
12.English Speaking (Verbal and written)
