| Job Description: |
Duties :
Plans, coordinates and supervises the inspection activities necessary to monitor the condition of all offshore plant, equipment, structures and facilities installed above sea level, to ensure all plant and equipment is maintained in food working order.
Provides back-up, technical support and advice to offshore team leaders on the condition of the equipment, to ensure engineering integrity and adequate and safe operating conditions are met.
Manages NDT contractors and Third Party certifying authorities carrying out crane and lifting tackle inspection repairs/replacements and vets site modifications (PMP’s).
Reviews and endorses inspection repots, amends and upgrades “Passport” data as to have true and accurate documentation as to the integrity of the equipment
Minimum Requirements:
Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
Experience : 6-7 years experience in Oil & Petrochemical Industry covering all aspects of inspection, corrosion and mechanical engineering, of which at least 3 years should be in a senior supervisor capacity.
Age: 35-45
Salary: Negotiable and tax free
