| Job Description: |
The Intermediate Graphic Designer role is to efficiently develop new graphic concepts for apparel products, online content, and varies merchandising programs. To be successful in this role, the artist must be able to multi-task several creative projects under a tight development schedule. Staying on top of current trends, the designer must be able to adapt and emulate different styles as required.
Qualification:
• University degree or College diploma in the field of graphic design
• 3 to 5 years experience in a graphic design role
Primary duties:
• Create graphics for multiple apparel divisions
• Assist in trend research and development
Skills required:
• Knowledge of PC based operating system
• Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, MS Office
• Strong design skills (digital & non-digital)
Assets:
• Previous experience in the apparel industry
• Knowledge of apparel embellishment techniques
• Knowledge of American college athletics & history
• Knowledge of professional sports leagues (NBA, NHL, NFL, etc)
