We are a global aid and development dealer for Ford Motor Company and sell/modify vehicles for use by humanitarian and development non-governmental organizations, government and commercial businesses.
Our On Site Construction Services offering experienced Project Managers and crew for customers include US Embassy, international security companies and major USAID contractors.
Responsibilities;
Based in Kabul, Afghanistan, responsible for work being performed on a project.
Overall responsibility for worker welfare on a project.
Read, evaluate & understand drawings, specifications and contractual obligations.
Ensure work is being performed according to drawings, specifications and contractual obligations.
Identify and recommend value engineering.
Create and implement project schedule and adjustments in cooperation with the Site Manager.
Create and implement project milestones in cooperation with the Site Manager.
Ensure work is being performed within budget in cooperation with the Site Manager.
Interact with the client and ensure work is being performed to their satisfaction.
Initial Daily project reporting and photographs in cooperation with the Site Manager.
Ensure safety requirements are being met.
Ensure quality control requirements are being met.
Identify, evaluate and resolve problems that may arise, be it design, work or staff related.
Evaluate additional Scope within a project, estimate costs, report findings and generate Change Order(s) when applicable.
Draft field sketches when required.
Draft Request for Information (RFI) in cooperation with the Site Manager.
Identify materials needed to the Site Manager.
Receive and stage delivered materials.
Increase/ decrease manpower during project term in conjunction with scheduled requirements.
Oversee daily manpower accountability.
Supervise project mobilization and demobilization in cooperation with the Site Manager.

Skills Required:: |
Proven Project Management experience in Construction business
At least bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years experience in construction projects
Strong leadership , project and people management skills
Excellent command of English and computer literate
Be able to work under pressure and to be based in Kabul, Afghanistan
