Position Title : Primary (6-12) Director/Directress
Position Description : Dynamic, creative and flexible individuals are
wanted for Sekolah Montessori Kiara Karitas in July of 2009. As
Director/Directres you will be in charge of the Primary 6 to 9 or 9 to
12 age range depending on your experience. Your responsibilities will
include creating classroom materials, supervising Assistant Teachers,
and reporting to the Principals and the Head of the Primary Program.
We seek teachers who can present curriculum that is compatible to
Montessori education while acting as ambassadors for Montessori
philosophy to families outside our school year community. Candidates
should effectively plan and problem-solve with a team, have a sense of
humor and relate warmly and effectively to others. The ability to
understand and work with different learning styles is required.
Qualifications : You must be Montessori trained or be in the process
of acquiring your certification. Two or more years of previous
Director/Directress experience is desired.
