Principal Engineer R&D-Cambridge, MA
This position, which reports to the Manager Vision Team, is responsible to contribute to vision and video analytics development in developing product features, refining image processing and video analytics algorithms, developing and prototyping new vision and analytics algorithms, and adapting vision and video algorithms
Hands-on development, refinement, testing, and documentation of vision and analytics algorithms.
General product development responsibilities including researching, implementing, documenting, and testing general product features (as needed).
Position Requirements:
PhD in computer vision technologies or advanced degree strongly preferred.
3 or more years experience developing commercial products based on vision technologies preferred. Equivalent domain experience will be considered.
In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and techniques including tracking people and/or knowledge in busy environments, including extensive university and/or commercial background.
Minimum 5 years developing leading-edge vision algorithms and/or products in industry or university environment.
Minimum 5 years C++ development experience.
Minimum 3 years experience developing commercial products.
Minimum 3 years developing on Linux, UNIX, or Windows platforms.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. |
