Job Details
A leader in global transaction processing and fraud prevention is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Metropark based software team. The Senior Software Development Engineer will play a key role in development of our mission-critical hosted and distributed payment processing suite.

Qualifications:
7+ years of development experience with C/C++ (experience in Payment Industry highly desired)
Very Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple concurrent project, releases or tasks
Experience developing database-driven applications using MSSQL2000/2005 database required.
Perform analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of assigned software development tasks
Follow Retail Decisions development guidelines, standards and procedures
Provide technical expertise to other developers as required
Resourceful and self starter with minimal hand holding required
Good team work and very strong communication skills

Skills Required:: |
Must-Have Skills:
Strong Experience with C/C++
Experience with MS SQL and Sybase
Experience with UNIX internals and shell scripting
Strong knowledge and use of full lifecycle development methodologies, standards and procedures
Familiarity with good development practices and methodologies (specification, development, testing, documentation, etc.)
Knowledge of Client / Server programming concepts particularly in TCP/IP environment.
Excellent communication skills absolutely necessary. Must have ability to effectively communicate in English with remote team members, partners and customers in a distributed development environment.
