Essential skills for the role:
Good professional ASP.NET development experience
AJAX guru or similar
Total knowledge of (X)HTML, JavaScript, DOM, CSS
You know your IE6 from your IE7, Firefox, Safari and of course Chrome
Good design sense
Working with cool technologies like OpenID, OAuth, widgets, toolbars
An excellent appreciation of usability and user focused interface design
If you can tweak every last bit of performance out of the browser, we’re listening
You can be counted on to work independently and deliver on own tasks
These skills are not essential for the role but would be beneficial:
Experience in working with tiered applications
Good understanding and use of Social Networks
Experience in SEO white magic
You know your FQL from your Open Social
You’ll be a key member of our Front-end coding team (currently four people) and at the same time work closely with our eight Back-end guys, who take care of the business and data layers. You’ll also be working hand-in-hand with the Product Team who pumps out excellent concepts and designs to kick things off. Your input is crucial – everyone has their say and you can offload all your ideas in our brainstorming sessions, which help us come up with the best features. You’ll be based at our main office in Copenhagen (Nørrebro). The company’s working language is English.

The Company
Our client is a free service shaping the future of mobile social networking by storing mobile data online and bringing it to life in a social community. Our client recently launched the a Phonebook application, a next generation mobile phone address book that enables people to see their friends’ live location on a map, check their availability and time zone, share calendars and photos, and see feeds of their social networking activities on Facebook, Twitter, etc. It is a first-of-it’s-kind product and will fundamentally change the experience of the mobile. |
