Direct, lead, and develop Electrical Engineering Staff with litigation and industrial related projects including performing engineering analysis and testing of electrical systems and components, accident investigation, analysis and reconstruction, product design evaluations and analysis.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
Failure analysis, industrial problem solving, electrical applications, and product evaluation for customers from various industries. Manage projects, participate in multi-disciplinary teams, perform hands-on technical investigations and activities, and communicate with clients through verbal and written reports. Will also be responsible for marketing activities including direct contact with potential clients and development of marketing materials and presentations of marketing seminars. Projects may involve electrical analysis, electrical testing, systems analysis, and component failure analysis and non-destructive testing. Some projects may involve providing litigation consulting for product liability and personal injury lawsuits. Travel required, including on-site inspections and investigations. Reporting: This position reports to Senior Management.
Qualifications

Skills Required:: |
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. Experience in design, analysis, or testing of mechanical systems or components within micro-electronics industry and/or power generation industry desirable. P.E. preferred. Must have excellent communications skills (written and verbal), as well as outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to work well with clients.
Special & Physical Abilities:
Ability to self direct and prioritize multiple tasks. Position requires travel and ability to conduct investigations at client locations. These investigations may require the ability to climb ladders, bend, twist and reach. |
