Job Description: Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage daily A/P and A/R transactions; prepare checks according to established parameters.
2. Prepare and maintain all accounting and related systems (A/R, A/P, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, G/L, FX); daily, monthly and quarterly as required.
3. Work with the CEO to update and monitor financial models, cash forecasts and budgets on a regular basis.
4. Liaise with external auditors; prepare quarterly working papers, analysis and assistance as required/requested.
5. Maintain accurate sales, purchasing and inventory records.
6. Comply with and monitor currently establish internal control policies and procedures; offer suggestions for improvements.
7. Provide financial analysis support to various projects as required.
8. Process semi-monthly payrolls through ADP and share essential information in reference to benefits with employees.
9. Manage day-to-day administrative processes; equipment and facilities management, purchasing and shipping.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with various suppliers, contractors and customers.


Skills Required::
Job Requirements

• Education:
Business or Commerce degree, specializing in accounting or finance.
Achievement of professional accounting designation or near completion of same.
• Required Experience:
2-5 years experience in similar position.
Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks Multicurrency and Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
• Job Knowledge:
Strong understanding of accounting theory and GAAP.
Working knowledge of the requirements of public companies including Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Required Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, tact and discretion.
Strong commitment to providing results that are thorough and accurate, while demonstrating a strong attention to detail.
Strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure with multiple deadlines.
Ability to plan and execute tasks to achieve goals set by management.
Ability to remain open-minded and positive.
