Our client is searching for an SEO / SEM Manager to work with this highly driven online gaming company to ensure all Search Engine aspects are covered including site re-designs, new product releases, product enhancements and new site features.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and refining Search Engine marketing strategies.
- Conduct ongoing keyword research, analysis, recommendations and execution to increase page rankings.
- Implement successful bidding strategies and effective keyword management and development on pay-per-click search engines including Google, Yahoo and MSN and other PPC sources.
- Report, analyse, and make optimisation recommendations for organic SEO and PPC campaigns.
- Develop, analyse and report on overall Search Engine Marketing program success with regard to keyword ranking, indexed pages, backlinks, etc.
- Test, analyse and optimise keywords, title and descriptions, landing pages and position to increase page rankings.
- Perform competitive analysis to help drive future Search Engine strategy.
- Development of Search Engine friendly content via internal blogs and website copy.
- Link building through contacts, partnerships, content generation, and other campaigns.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a dedicated Search Engine Marketing role within online gaming.
- Familiarity with programming languages and web technologies, such as, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript, online video, Ajax, Flash and RSS.
- Excellent knowledge of the search engine industry, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies.
- Understanding of web analytics and paid search bid optimization tools.
- The ability to create reports, understand return on investment, and select relevant data for analysing future actions.
- Understanding of social media and community websites i.E. Digg, Facebook, etc .
- Highly numerate with good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and team player.
