| Job Description: |
Our client, a national civil contractor with over 25 years industry experience has an urgent need for an experienced project manager with a background in bulk earthworks style schemes.
The successful candidate will be expected to work on a FIFO basis from Perth to a variety of sites around WA.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage commercial aspects of project.
- Manage relationship with client.
- Lead a team of engineers & supervisors.
- Responsible for site safety culture.
- Assist in tender preperation.
- Managing planning and scheduling activities.
- Ensure performance against contractual req`s.
To be succesful you will require the following skills and experience:
Qualification / Skills Required
Tertiary qualification – Civil / Construction engineering.
Intermediate / advanced software skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Commercial acumen
Strong achievement orientation
Ability to work constructively within a senior team.
Safety orientation.
Experience Required
Over 5 years postgraduate experience in project management of significant projects (>$10M).
Experience in mining infrastructure projects constructed within best practice OHSE requirements
Extensive experience working with OHS&E procedures and audit process.
Track record of success,: financial, OHS&E and client relations
