| Job Description: |
ROLE:
• The Site Representative’s role is to supervise/monitor contractor’s site work on a daily basis and communicate with contractor any site related matters, deemed to be of concern to company. The Site representative shall ensure that all approved construction procedures are strictly complied with and that prior approval from the Project Leader is obtained for any required or commended changes or deviations.
• He will review extra work and / or change order requests from the contractor and record his views on the same. Any variation to contract scope/ cost impact to project shall be reported to Project Leader and approval must be obtained. Supervise/monitor contract scope/additional works.
Responsibility:
• He is responsible for management and supervision of contractor’s site activities and ensures that company’s project/HSE requirements are met.
• While on site, he shall be responsible for all members of AFMA-OPCO site team.
• He will produce daily reports for Project Leader highlighting projects progress, areas of concern, accidents/incidents if any, his recommendations for improvements in construction practice or design, etc. He shall be responsible for signing off Contractor’s DPR’s and record his comments as necessary.
• He shall maintain close liaison with field personnel in Umm Shaif or Zakum Operations and arrange for handover of facilities at the appropriate time.
• He shall ensure regular safety briefings, accident/incident reports and monitor compliance of HSE requirements by the Contractor.
• He shall report to the designated Project Leader in ADMA-OPCO office, Abu Dhabi, or his nominees and will be the nodal point for all site communications with contractors, 3rd parties and Operations field personnel.

Skills Required:: |
• At least 15 years or more Off chore Construction experience with adequate exposure to E&I construction works, hook-ups, pre-screening and commissioning works. It involves changeover from old to new system with minimum downtime of F&G system, special emphasis is on such experience. This experiences should have been gathered whilst working on Offshore Construction/ Pre-commissioning/ Commissioning
• Adequate knowledge of Offshore Construction practices, marine/ safety regulation, QA / QC, HSE and installation, hook up /tie-ins for electrical & instrumentation and safety system/ equipment commissioning procedures.
• Exposed to International Safety Codes and be fully aware of HSE policies and work permit system. Shall be competent to arrange work permits for contractors and shall ensure compliance of safety regulations by contractors during construction works. Be able to organize safety group meetings, tool box talks and safety drills with the contractor. Be responsible for participating in risk assessments and ensuring implementation of mitigation measures.
• Competent in coordinating S/D activities of Offshore Projects and supervision of contracted personnel to ensure that work is carried out in a timely manner and in a safe environment.
