| Job Description: |
In this position, you will be responsible the daily management, operations and monitoring of all FanBox database systems. You will support new product development by working with the development teams to design and review scalable systems and architecture while ensure all FanBox products are consistently available and accessible.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure and administer SQL Server 2005 databases on Windows 2000/2003 Enterprise servers in a multiple database server, high availability environment. Identify project interdependencies, risks and barriers and assures appropriate mitigation process.
• Advanced database clustering and mirroring responsibilities Improve organizational flexibility with the ability to allocate and focus key resources on key activities.
• Design, automate and document backup, archival and cleanup tasks.
• Install, configure and administer SQL Server 2005 databases in QA and production environments including load/hardware analysis mapping, fault tolerance, and security.

Skills Required:: |
• BA/BS Degree (required.)
• Experience with administering SQL 2005 Database servers.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of the SDLC (software development life cycle.)
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing requests.
• A "whatever it takes" attitude (friendly, humble, positive, confident.)
• Experience designing and building white box/black box test jigs for SQL 2000/2005 (desired.)
